What Community Should Look Like—for Me, My Daughter, and the Women Around Us

Community isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a lifeline. It’s what helps us thrive, not just survive. As a stay-at-home mom, an entrepreneur, and a woman rebuilding while raising, I’ve learned that the kind of community we surround ourselves with directly affects our peace, our purpose, and our children’s future.
So what should community look like—for me and my family? This is my vision.
It should be a space where:
- Mothers uplift mothers, without jealousy or competition—where encouragement comes naturally, not just when it’s trendy.
- Tsireya can grow up surrounded by examples of strong, nurturing, and collaborative women, who celebrate each other’s wins and show up when life gets hard.
- Not being afraid to be vulnerable—because I know I am met with compassion, not judgment.
- My ambitions as a woman, creator, and entrepreneur are supported and valued, not dismissed.
- Shared values like intentional parenting, generational healing, and emotional safety are prioritized.
- Help flows both ways—not just handouts or hand-ups, but reciprocity.
- There’s room at the table for everyone’s gifts—whether you’re the one hosting, creating, nurturing, or dreaming.
And most of all, it should feel like legacy. A place where my daughter can say, “My mom built this kind of world for me—and I want to build it for others.
